Frequently Asked Questions

How do I install my wall decals?

At Little Dreamer Decals, our wall decals are crafted from a premium peel-and-stick, polyester fabric. This versatile material allows for effortless installation on almost any flat and clean surface. What’s more, you can remove and reposition these decals multiple times without leaving behind any sticky residue.

Simple to Apply, Easy to Remove

Our decals are user-friendly, ensuring they won’t shrink, tear, or wrinkle during application or removal. Made from polyester fabric, they are not only fire-rated for safety but also eco-friendly and non-toxic, making them an ideal choice for any area in your home.

Essentials for Decal Application

  • A soft cloth to clean the wall.
  • A credit card wrapped in a soft cloth can be used as a squeegee (optional).
  • An additional pair of hands can be helpful for larger decals.

Preparing Your Surface

For optimal results, apply our decals on a smooth, dry, and clean surface. We recommend interior walls, doors, and windows as ideal locations. If applying to a painted wall, ensure the paint is well-settled (at least 4 weeks after painting) and the surface is properly primed. Avoid applying on walls with Teflon-based paint and textured or porous surfaces like brick or concrete. Test a small area first if unsure. Clean the surface with a soft cloth without using chemicals or wetting the wall.

Applying Your Decal

  • Carefully peel the decal from its liner, starting from a corner.
  • Lightly place the decal on the wall to check its position. If necessary, you can reposition it several times.
  • Once satisfied with the placement, smooth out the decal, starting from the centre towards the edges.
  • If bubbles or wrinkles appear, gently press or smooth them out. Persistent bubbles may indicate the presence of oil or dust.

Additional Tips

  • Our decals are fully adjustable – they can be overlapped, folded, and even cut without harm.
  • Keep the backing liner for future storage or transportation needs.

Our decals are designed for easy removal and reuse. To remove, gently peel them from the wall and reattach them to the backing liner for safekeeping.
